With years of experience in the karaoke industry, JazPiper has made its name selling the modern version of the karaoke machine. The keyword for a JazPiper is all-in-one, meaning everything is packaged into the size of a soundbar, including the karaoke system, the amplifier and speakers all into one. A JazPiper has all the functionalities of any traditional karaoke system, including a huge library of songs, wireless mics, a karaoke-oriented user interface and of course speakers.

While a JazPiper comes with all these improvements over traditional machines, our most important focus is still on sound quality and the karaoke feel and experience. We personally tune our speakers and microphone to suit the tastes of the average Malaysian in order to make sure satisfaction is guaranteed, and that you actually feel like you are in a karaoke room when you use JazPiper.
The Sound
Many entry-level speakers have only one or two drivers, usually full-range drivers that handle most or all of the audible frequency range. Every JazPiper sound system has at least four drivers: a pair of tweeters and mid-range or full-range drivers. Most models also come with a dedicated subwoofer, whether it’s built-in, such as the MAX and GO, or wirelessly connected, such as the PRO.
The advantage of having separate drivers is that each one can be optimized for a specific range of frequencies. This allows them to reproduce sound more effectively, resulting in greater clarity, detail and separation. When properly designed and tuned, a multi-driver system can also create a more spacious soundstage and give music a greater sense of depth and layering.
Tweeters typically operate in the higher-frequency range, often around 2 kHz to 20 kHz. They reproduce treble, including high notes, cymbals and the finer high-frequency details of vocals and instruments.
Mid-range drivers typically handle frequencies from around 300 Hz to 5 kHz, covering much of the vocal range as well as the fundamental frequencies and harmonics of many instruments.
Subwoofers typically reproduce very low frequencies, commonly from around 20 Hz to 200 Hz depending on the system. They provide the deep bass, low-end impact and physical sensation you feel when listening to music.
On JazPipers we try our best to tune these drivers specifically to work perfectly with each other to deliver the right amount of treble, bass and overall well balanced sound. Of course, thanks to a dedicated DSP chip on board, the sound can be tuned to suit your specific tastes.
Other than its own speakers, many JazPiper models come with a line-out feature, which allows connecting to active speakers directly or to passive speakers through amplifiers. So if you ever feel that JazPiper itself is not loud enough for your taste and you want more, you can always hook up another speaker.
The Microphone
All JazPiper models use UHF or Ultra-High Frequency wireless microphones with high quality microphone capsules, or as we like to call it, the “core” of the microphone.
UHF microphones have major advantages over normal microphones, those using Bluetooth or 2.4Ghz frequency connections.

Some JazPiper models allow connecting even more microphones, such as the PRO having two extra microphone jacks, and the MOVE and K-ONE having one more extra, so you can even have more people singing together.
